I am a huge coldplay fan. I am a writer and I use their music every day to inspire me. I think their lyrics have so much meaning. The music is so calming and relaxing and I really just love them!! :D

"Yeeeaaahhhh..."Awesome chorus. That guy could sing from the pages of the telephone directory and make it sound good, as well as meaningful. What I like most about Coldplay is the simplicity of their arrangements. Their songs are never muddled or weighted down by excessive production, or flashy riffing or vocal gymnastics. Great rock band.

Gwyneth probably said that "i promise ill learn from your mistakes" So its a spritual song, placating Gwyneth, something like - God is speaking, waiting for her Dad and will fix him, since he didnt get all he longed for, in this world. The idea of afterlife placates those who lost someone.. you cant replace. Thats just my interpretation.
