It seems that Scientology Volunteers are doing a very good job helping the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. I keep hearing from newspapers and TV that they're doing the jobs that others might not want to do. I also heard that they have gotten five plane-loads of supplies, doctors, nurses, assistants and volunteers to Haiti so far. This is really what's needed according to Haiti's Prime Minister, many hands helping because of so much to do. If you can't get down there, support those who do.

Maybe you're right. I haven't been able to be on the front lines in one of these disasters so I can't directly compare the efficacy of the two groups. However, i have seen a LONG line of (from numerous emergency workers and other UN-BIASED sources on the scene) that they are EXTREMELY helpful. I don't doubt that the Red Cross is as well. I'm simply tired of people trying to sell a pre-conceived narratives from a heavily biased viewpoint.

they are probably not trying to convert Haiti people (no money there), but a a big PR stunt to turn heads in their direction, and to justify milking hefty donations from the Scientologists.
