I've read " Sense and Sensebility" in all it's entirety and didn't find it at all interesting nor amusing, but rather meaninglessly boring and ridiculous. Two beautiful sisters gets jilted by two avaricious men and falls into deep consternation, praying for reconciliation. Wop Woo! some great read...lol. Comparatively,the characters weren't as likable and sensible as the ones in Pride and Prejudice. And I will hold true to these opinions til someone argue me a good one!

Mansfeild Park sounds like a really good book. I will have to place it on my next to read list. Pride and prejudice is about a no-nonsense girl that comes from little money who meets an affluent, arrogant man that holds her? with very little regard. As he become more familiar with her presence he grows intrigued but ignorant to the prejudice that already sits in her heart towards him. A really good book, full of theartrical humor, misconception and decept! Very recommendable.

I liked Mansfeild Park quite a bit. never read Pride and prejudice. I liked mansfeild park becuase it portrayed how differently the girl was treated becuase of background regardless of whether she was family or not. Imagine having to know your place all the time, surrounded by other young people who are concidered your betters. Almost like a servant, with family privilages. lol

@nauort23 Actually the youngest daughter was not 9 in the movie. It stated in the movie that she was almost 12. Marianne in the movie was in her early 20's and Elinor was 27 so there is no imagination to be used. The movie made several changes from the book, not just the ages. The movie is not a carbon copy of the book and it does not promote itself to be. Whatever changes were made did not alter the essence of the book. The story was still told and I think Emma did a splendid job.

And so we go yet another round... The youngest daughter (around 9) wasn't "aged for the film actualy"... so, we have a 36 yr old with an 9 yr old full-sister... I wish I had your "imagination" so that this made sense, then I wouldn't have made the initial, simple observation that the actress was too old for the part--which has launched nothing but a torrent of spat dummies from a league of squalling brats who seem to have a lot of trouble with a WELL-FOUNDED opinion that differs from theirs.

Agreed, bare-bones Android is pretty rubbish, even on Android 2.0. And as far as iTunes sync goes you'd just need to get 'The Missing Sync' which uses iTunes to put your non-DRM music onto any Android device, as well as Calendars, Email etc. It costs, but hey, with the 90% of free-apps on the marketplace you'd soon make up the difference compared to the iPhone.

But of course my principal thanks must go to Ang Lee, the director, even though he kept on coming up to me and saying things like "Don't look so old!" which was crushing.
