pretty cool, or polite I should say... but you could tell that he would have prefered to not have people waiting for him outside of the hotel. Still he signed everything I had for him: ticket, dvds and cds and got a pic with him, so pretty cool. And the funny thing was that we waited for him the night before and we got to talk to stu's bass tech and he gave us 2 stu picks to me and my 2 friends. try searching for a pedal named POG by Electro Harmonix:) that's what he is using! There is also a smaller version of it called the Micro POG!...he uses it on "Didle Ya doo Dat!" Both of these are Analog Harmonizers!they are reaaaally sweet tools to mess with but THEY ARE EXTREEEEMELY NOISY!You definetely need a Noise Gate Pedal/Rack to keep the noise down :)

Well hopefully they will make the perect etiquette. It's a hard rock band and I'm praying the band doesn't make an arse of it, but I think they may do just fine. Satch is an exceptionally talented guitarist so guitaring shouldn't be a prob. Chickenfoot is a fairly cheesy name for a band though, who agrees? Satriani always seems to be best on his own tour band - Joe was on tour when this DVD was filmed. Seems its anyones guess...

pssh, i dont really memorize modes man. just find a tab or watch his fingers and put together the notes to see which one it is. he has combined different modes in songs for cool blends before so i dunno what it would be exactly without checking it out myself. too bad for you i dont have the patience, but maybe you can take the time to do it.

the js chrome boy was out way before those other guitars were. prs didnt really get that popular until the 90's. the omen wasnt even out back then. it was created from the ground up. joe didnt even like the first ibanez models that were given to him. he had to help them design what he wanted.

Well there were JS10ths made by Ibanez which makes all of his line series of guitars. The JS10ths were not exactly like his but darn close. His guitar is actually a little different and there was only like 5 exact replicas produced. His guitars all have a similar sound because he uses Dimarzio pickups. The wood they are made out of may be a little different but I don't know where you get PRS from. To say Paul Reed Smith guitars seems like a general statement that has no merit... no offense.

It amazes me people can have such deep respect for one amazingly talented guitarist and then turn around and show such contempt toward and flat out insult another amazingly talented guitarist. I've been playing for 28 years now, understand the music, can improvise and all that. Joe's abilities transcends the fret board. JS simply can compose based on simple emotion. The guitar is an extension of his soul man. He uses it like you and I speak, or write with a pen. He's a true composer. its because it holds the strings down so it creates a capo affect so that all the strings are held down for you so all you have to do is hit on the right frets down its much easier, and if he didnt bar the strings like that but did what he does id cause all the other strings to go open and id be a big mess
