From the novel, Michael and Hanna are supposed to be mistaken as mother and son, they checked-in at hotels as mother and son, they don't look mother and son here. Hanna is supposed to be 36 while Michael 15. Hanna looks younger here while Michael looks older than 15.

I don't remember very well, but I think there was no reason mentioned... probably because the educational system wasn't as good as it is today... I don't know. but it's strange, you're right. When we read the book in school we were all wondering how she could have made a living without being able to read... and no one except Michael noticed!!

I'm from Germany and I think the movie is great (as far as I can tell) and I'm really looking forward to seeing it, but isn't Kate Winslet a bit too young to play Hanna? I mean, in the book she was way older... you don't see the age difference very well because David Kross looks older than Michael and Winslet looks younger than Hanna. And that she is so much older than him is an important aspect of the book, I think...

the movie was great, the same as the book, I have read the book and they did not modify anything, they skiped a couple of things. for example when he leaves in the morning to buy brekfast and leaves her a note. But other than that, the movie is worth watching. I give both, the book and the movie 10 stars out of 5 :)

The main drawback is the tiny 6" screen... pretty much useless for PDF files, let alone normal text. 8" is the minimum needed for a letter or A4 sized PDF. Also, the irex iliad has hand writing capability, not just a touch screen.

Hey I agree with you! They constantly make devices that supposedly have "what we need" on them. I can live without watching youtube or having a photo slideshow. We need important office applications, pdf openers, word processing. These devices are really just for entertainment, you might as well buy a sony PSP and glue a phone to the back of it.

How is it that I can't read a simple PDF. file. No Office Mobile Apps. available for this "super" I was on the phone for hours with Tec support to find out I can't read any pdf files at all. that crazy. I cant access the files on my Memory card either. and these other thing I'm wondering why has no one thought of. Is this G1 phone only like internet based. Correct. The iPhone is one phone. Apple is the opposite of open-source: once you've bought into their "system," you're forced to stick the applications they like. So long as they are excellent stewards of quality, this works out. But watch out when the standards begin to fall (see: Apple during the 1990's). On the other hand, we'll begin seeing Android on dozens of phones soon. And being open source, the quality will naturally elevate above anything Apple can offer.

The only thing is that you're comparing the Iphone to an OS... Android can run on anything. Also, I'm not being anti-apple, I'm comparing two things from their respective specs. You're outright attacking google, and then when someone disagree's you're now 'done argueing' don't start the fight if you can't support it. We're also speaking on 'now' terms, not future terms, so wether apple is falling behind is irrelevant. Google's Android and Chrome won't fail easily; they need both of them to win.

The refresh rate on the device is @ about 3 seconds per page but personally I feel the reading experience is still good. Since then the e-ink has improved though. The refresh rate has become so fast that animations are now possible. Devices with the new technology should hit the market in the near future. About the landscape mode for the pdf files: it´s basically the third zoom range, so it´s not possible to get the text bigger.

refresh rate of the pdf anime seems rather slow @4 seconds per page. A zoom-in on the grey areas of the reader would be nice,to show the different tints, as well as the dirthering. You're not able to zoom in the pdf files in landscape?(or take away the white border?)

Very nicely done review! Thank you. BTW, you can easily convert .pdf files to text right inside the reader. In the File eanu, there is a "Save as text" option. In addition, there are various conversion programs, some for free, available on the web. Just search on "pdf converters".

possibly one of the most heart wrenching songs ever. Kirsty never really did the song justice as she was maybe too close to it. Eddi Reader did a superb version in one of teh tribute shows for Kirsty, just her and an acoustic guitar. This version is great, but probaly goes on for 30 or 40 seconds too long JUSTICE FOR KIRSTY !!!

From one of the early seasons, Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno get their song on. A similar tune was used later as "One Word Comes After Another", with the same basic concept. I have to admit, this ultra hippie Easy reader was always my favorite..
